Mental health speaker, author, and founder of Inspiring My Generation — on a mission to make healing accessible.
From Survivor to Changemaker
Why I Do This Work
I didn’t plan on becoming a mental health advocate. I planned on disappearing.
In 2019, I became a three-time suicide attempt survivor. One week later, I left the psychiatric unit with a decision: to stay and fight for my life.
That same year, I lost my uncle — the one who helped me hold on — to suicide. That loss broke me open. I started writing. Speaking. Creating. And eventually, I founded Inspiring My Generation.
This isn’t just work. It’s who I am. It’s why I stay.
Professional Background

How My Work Becomes Action
Inspiration matters — but transformation happens when people are given tools to continue the work.
Through my speaking, guided workbooks, mentoring, and creative resources, I help individuals and organizations turn insight into action. Each offering is designed to meet people where they are and support growth beyond a single moment, conversation, or event.
Whether someone first hears my story on stage, opens a workbook, or joins a guided mentoring session, the goal is the same: to make healing accessible, practical, and sustainable.
What started as a blog at 12 years old became a national movement.
At Inspiring My Generation, we:
Donate encouragement cards to psychiatric hospitals and units
Host conversations that reduce stigma through our podcast
Create tools that prevent suicide through education, creativity, and connection
Everything we do centers on one belief: conversation saves lives.

TESTIMONIALS
During the NAMI Florida conference, I attended Fran's workshop on positive self-talk and coping skills. The session provided a valuable experience through an engaging, interactive presentation centered on informative practical strategies for wellbeing, especially focused on youth and young adults. I learned additional techniques not only to talk to myself in a supportive way but also to understand navigating concrete fundamental ways to do so. Inner dialogue can be quite powerful when reframing negative thoughts into a more positive uplifting light and enhanced self-awareness. The session also shared essential coping skills that anyone could use to become more resilient with their own adventurous mental-health journeys. Fran did a phenomenal job in delivering this important topic to attendees and conducted a brilliant presentation that I hope to her as a speaker again at next year's conference.

Being a guest on Normalize The Conversation was an incredible experience. The podcast creates a safe and welcoming space to openly discuss mental health with honesty and compassion. I appreciated the opportunity to share my journey, knowing that every conversation is rooted in hope, resilience, and breaking the stigma around mental health.
Through meaningful dialogue and valuable resources, Normalize The Conversation not only raises awareness but also empowers listeners with the tools to take steps forward in their mental health journey. The impact of these discussions is truly inspiring, and I’m grateful to have been part of such an important movement.
If you’re looking for a space where mental health is talked about with authenticity and care, this is the podcast to listen to.

Very insightful information. I hope to implement her knowledge to help a family member experiencing a similar experience. I hope to implement better check in and supportive statements in to my faculty lifestyle. Thank you.
I thought it was a very engaging and heartfelt conversation. It is a great reminder to check in with others, in and out of the therapy office.
